Terms of Service

1. Who we are

mp4wav.com ("mp4wav", "we", "us") is operated by Mohd Imran Khan R. These terms apply to everything on mp4wav.com, including the free MP4 to WAV converter, the transcription tool and the paid transcription plans. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. The services

• Converter. The MP4 to WAV converter runs entirely in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.
• Transcription. The transcription tool extracts the audio from your file in your browser and sends the audio (not the video) to our server to be converted to text. Free use is limited (currently 30 minutes per file and 3 files per day); paid plans raise these limits as described on the pricing page.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload content you do not have the right to use, or use the services to break any law;
• try to get around usage limits, for example with automated requests, scripts or many accounts;
• interfere with or overload the services, or try to access them other than through the website.

We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the files you use and the transcripts you create. We process your audio only to produce your transcript. We do not store your files or audio after processing and do not use them to train AI models. Transcripts are saved only in your own browser. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Paid plans

• Day pass: a one-time payment that gives paid-plan access for 24 hours from purchase. It does not renew.
• Pro (monthly or yearly): a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Pro includes fair use of up to about 30 hours of audio per month.
• Prices are shown on the pricing page and exclude taxes. Sales tax, VAT or GST for your country is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

6. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

7. Refunds

Any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days. See the Refund Policy.

8. Accuracy

Transcripts are produced automatically by speech recognition AI and can contain mistakes, especially with background noise, overlapping speakers, names or technical terms. Please check transcripts before relying on them.

9. Availability and warranty

We work to keep the services fast and available, but they are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features and free limits may change, and the services may sometimes be unavailable.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes to paid plans will be announced before they apply to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
